It's about time. Labels: blog You should be checking out your nearest Delifrance store for these yummy treats. A friend of mine gave this leaflet (it's the attachment). If you are interested, email her. I have been a fan of radio for the past four years, mainly with a particular station in mind, but have strayed off the course at certain points. I have gotten to know different radio DJ's and the different listeners, from all walks of life. I have seen them do their thing on and off the booth. Some have chosen to add me to their personal accounts, some have not. Welcome to 2010. A new year. A new decade, even. A new era, filled with chances at new opportunities. Opportunities that may lead to bigger and better things. It has been a while since I have been able to fully thresh out thoughts that do not have a specific product agenda (whether it is a crosspost from my own blog or a specific item post, of which i still need to do at least 3).

A new hope. A new dream.
Signs of tomorrow in sight.
Looking forward. Beckoning.
May it be what I want it to be.
And then some.

Back In The Habit
It has been awhile since I last touched this particular blog of mine, especially since the blog bears my name. I cannot promise, but I will do my best to do a little more blog writing this year. I owe it to myself and to everyone.
I hope you have a blessed New Year ahead.

Yummy Delifrance Treats for February

I guess the reason I am writing this is probably due to what I deem as personal "attacks" on some by a particular individual (whom I will not dignify by citing the name or the account). Obviously, that individual has nothing to do for spare time, and thus, decided to do it. Good thing said DJs either made humor in the light of it or merely ignored it.
There have been some who have decided to raise up their swords and challenge / diss the individual. That's okay, but always remember that you can only do so much. After all, there might be the possibility that said individual is only trying to get your goat and / or crave attention. Just like poking the animals, it is only a matter of time before said animal decides to just bite you in the end.
Moral lesson: be careful.
Speaking of which, I have been known to have a not-so-good standing / reputation with certain individuals. Whether that is warranted or not, it is not for me to decide. They have their means, whether blocking from viewing tweets or not accepting YM / Facebook requests or verbally / visually expressing said disgust / disdain, I respect their decision and I would rather not diss them in public or even in private, because that is who they are. That is their nature and that they are being true to themselves just as I am being true to mine. I have learned that if there is nothing good to say to someone, don't say it. You keep it to yourself, or tell it to that person directly. Whether one can mend fences is anyone's guess, but it can happen. Anything can happen right now, so I choose to hope and believe.
However, there might be certain things that have no hope.
It has been a while since I had one of those long-winded personal thoughts as of late. The 140-character mind has pervaded my thought process.

What 2010 can bring you?
So, what could be something new that you can do? Well, one thing you can do as a start a hobby. You go find something you love and enjoy and you go do it.
Well, one new thing or hobby you could do would be to blog. There are lots of things to write about, from your own perspectives and views on life, to even doing reviews different concepts and ideas. What is even better if you can blog using fashionable equipment. Having great equipment would make things easy for you. It may even bring inspiration for your topics. Once you're good, you can refine the art by adding on to it, pictures, links, videos, the works.
Another thing would be to go reach out and meet people. Man is a greagarious and a social being. With all the different social networks available, it has been a great way to get to know people who share the same interests or even total strangers.
Speaking of social networks, a new one sprouted late last year called Fizzer.ph. Now, what makes Fizzer different from the other social networks, one may ask? Well, for starters, they consider themselves as a localized social network that is tailor-made for Filipinos, especially those in the Philippines. It does not mean that others can't join in the fun. I would think we would welcome those with open arms.
Unlike other social networks, Fizzer also provides the opportunity to actually meet fellow members either through events sponsored by Fizzer or those the members set up themselves. In addition, they also have contests that have really wonderful and awesome prizes waiting for the winners.
And with the new year and the new decade, the people at Fizzer have decided to give us a chance to win some cool stuff. What are these prizes?
1st prize is a Macbook (which everyone loves, of course)
2nd prize is a PS3 (which also doubles as a Blu-Ray player)
3rd prize is HP Mini (for those netizens who like things handy)
4th prize is a PSP (for those who like to play games while on the go)
5th prize is an iPod (for those who like listening to their favorite beats on the go)
You are probably wondering though how you can get those? Well, it is relatively simple and easy to do.
First, you will need to do either click this link: http://www.fizzer.ph/signup/8ae8336343.html or go to Fizzer.ph and register there. Once finished registering, you can proceed to http://www.fizzer.ph/competitions/christmasGiveaway.html and join in the quest for those neat gadgets. The deadline for this is on Valentine's Day (February 14, 2010). That's it. It is that simple and easy.
Since you're there already, make sure to check out the contents and follow the rules, so no cheating.
Just don't forget to blog about this experience if you ever win the MacBook, alright?

Manual Reboot that I truly deserve
I honestly want to get 2009 out of the system already. I am already sick and tired. Disappointing so far and tough on the emotional psyche. But inevitably, you need to face those kind of things, suck it up and move.
These are tests. I tell ya. Tests of faith and courage. There will always be scars from the experience, but it is these that tell you how things went and how the story goes.
Looking back, with all the things that I have seen, it is key that you live it the way you want it done.
Meanwhile, watch out 2010. Something new is rising out of the neighborhood.
It's about time.
