This is my first serious entry in this thingee… anyway, what has preoccupied my mind lately? That is a good question. Hmmm…
Okay, first things first. I feel good about me graduating, finally. After finishing my thesis on my third attempt, I am a week away from graduation. I feel good. (Hey, the back of my head hurts. Must be from lying in bed too long. Ergonomics….) However, I would have preferred to do it with my batchmates and not with this batch. Still, graduation is graduation. More to follow-up on this issue on the run-up to the next week.
Second, sports. March Madness is afoot. Just watched how the Blue Devils demolished Alabama State in the first round. Got bored, so I channel surfed to NASCAR. As I was typing this, Arizona and Seton Hall are “Duke-ing” it out to face Duke. Given that ESPN is not covering the Tournament (CBS is doing it), I get to hear Mark Brown doing intro, which in my whole honest opinion is pathetic. Another rant: the Mandarization of ESPN and Star Sports in Asia. I can’t frigging understand what their saying. Thank God for Solar Sports and Sports Plus. Kulang na lang, NBA League Pass. PBA is doing slightly better than last year. I wish our national sports scene stop bickering and do something. It’s time I guess to move into the next phase…
Third, politics. Two issues dominate my mind as of late: Kinse Años and Eddie Gil. As for that billboard, I find no qualms about that ad, but people from the opposite sex are offended. One thing for sure, Napoleon Brandy is surely getting a lot of publicity from this… as for Mr. Gil, he is an idiot. He says he’s a rich guy who wants to pay our entire debt, but how come the business community doesn’t know the guy. I find something fishy here… also, one thing is for sure, Filipinos don’t give a damn about him, anyway.
Lastly, one point to ponder, how can I possibly get someone to love me… sana mahal niya ako, kasi mahal na mahal ko siya… don’t even try figuring it out. Don’t even think about it.
eto na muna for today... another time....
