the tale of 2 concerts.

i felt this deserved its own separate entry.

after my work at 2pm, i immediately went to ateneo. dumaan sa mateo, nagkita sa mga kakilala. afterwards, went to rustan's to help out in purchasing the prize for the bbb. then went on to the bbb. (didn't know who won, though)

finishing the bbb, went to the Gabay-sponsored concert. thought they would start promptly at 6pm, yun pala medyo mga 7 na nakapag-start. had to leave at 8, but deferred kasi orange and lemons performed. took a taxi to go to the rx anniversary concert @ dish abs-cbn.

while at the taxi, managed to listen in on barbie almalbis on the live Ateneo feed , who incidentally celebrated her birthday on that day. pagdating sa venue, haba ng pila, grabe. tagal ko pang stuck doon. grabe, as in. kala ko di na ako makakapasok. ggod thing i managed to get in. but only after i managed to listen to cueshe on the Ateneo feed, then stonefree @ dish.

inside, managed to hear on the radio the rest of the concert while sandwich and south border performed. buti na lang, kasi hale came after that and brought the house down.

then the really special part....

this is where i managed to find a free space near the stage area. there, i got to see barbie up close, where i got to take her picture (mobile phone wallpaper ko na ngayon) tapos, spongecola...katabi ko pa si gosh.... yeeeaaahhhh!!!! and lastly, kitchie nadal....

patay na patay na ako sa kanya, tapos this happened...

after kitchie performed her 1st song, she asked for a brave volunteer to sing with her... walang nagvolunteer. nag-suggest si kitchie ng dj na kakanta (si francesca pa ata yun), wala rin... tumuloy pa rin... aba eto nangyari...

she saw me singing at the side of the stage. she then motions me to come near her and sing the chorus of same ground. promptly, i went and sang the chorus (with croaked voice and all)... wow... after singing it, balik ako sa lugar ko, i was in a state of stupor and euphoria (i actually almost cried). i was in heaven. grabe. i am so wow.... managed to get a picture of her, although wala nung moment na kumakanata ako with her watching.... nakakahiya nga na medyo off yung boses.

grabe mga dj ng rx.... ang gaganda talaga. especially sarah. wow. sanya, delamar, gelli, chinggay, danielle, fran are so beautiful. yeaaahhhhhhhh..... i am so smitten with them. haaay.... i am so lovin' it.

mahal na mahal ko na talaga... :p haaay.... :p

concert finished way past 1am. phew....

i dilly-dallied as to what should i have done, and i felt i did teh right thing, given what happened that day.
