cornucopia

note: this was first written a long time ago... pag-pasensyahan mo na kung medyo magtagal akong di nakapag-sulat...

while listening to both RX 93.1 (on my mini-boom box) and Magic 89.9 (on my cellphone radio)

it has been a pretty much an eventful time since i last wrote my thoughts and ideas here. let me count the ways...

1. new office mates: the lady i have dubbed as the prettiest @ work has joined our team (she was a tsr before that). my teammates have constantly ribbed me on her whether she is around or not (more often when she's there). i like her, but she already has a boyfriend (people who know me very well know my stance on situations like these). my officemates occasionally rib me on another officemate of mine (my 1st office "crush"). as of the moment, i am acquainting myself with them, espcially with the team-building we had late in november. on the other hand, as time passed this month, the sense of derision has come over & i have a suspicious look. ewan. add to that the fact that our office xmas party was an affront to my dignity. anyway, things are a bit mixed right now. hopefully, it would be better.

2. Gabay: things have gone up & down with them. ewan ko ba kung bakit. most notably on the Caroling brouhaha. nag-usap na kami ni omar about tungkol rito, pero hanggang doon lang ako. i can only comment and give my say, pero ang mga current members lang makakapagpasya. still, i (along probably with the whole Gabay alumni and alumnae) am HUGELY diasppointed with this fiasco. and the fault lies with all of us, not on 1 or 2 people. may i add the eds situation & what a.kamille was making a sermon about last wednesday. at least nung xmas party nila, i was glad that rachel appreciated the stuff i gave her for xmas.

other than that, masaya naman. Angkans, SOAC, the moments...

3. ACIL: the pre-Centennial day & Centennial Day transpired, got the opportunity to renew old acquaintances. another opportunity came by earlier this week. (Joyce G) managed to see snippets of their SOAC event this week.

4. Ateneo in general: the AMA Mall (particularly the apparel line) was very much intriguing. wala lang akong gastusin para makabili. (Speaking of that, yun ang gagawin ko on Monday with my mom @ Divisoria)

5. SEA Games: Over-all Champs. 113 golds. proud to be pinoy!

6. Lovelife: it's an absolute mess. i am weirded out. confused. dazed. i am re-re-rethinking my options. maybe this is what love is... once you sort out your issues.

7. lastly, repose to the soul of Ariel Llanto, a batchmate of mine.
