feeling bipolar
*listening to jam sessions (which has Up Dharma Down as their guest)*
as i still continue to figure out how to cross-post between multiply and wordpress, i think about what things are what they are, thinking complicated and feeling the stress and tiring opportunity.
i feel happy about how things went, watching sporting events and relaxing and chilling.
Looking forward to this event. (sana may pass... wishing...)

the Greenwich Eat-All You Can
Before I watched the UE - Ateneo game, I took the opportunity to partake of this promotion by Greenwich in all of their branches (i ate at my hometown branch, since it is near my home).
for 149, you can have as much pizza (whether it would be pepperoni or hawaiian) and drinks as you can.
being a pizza lover, i grabbed the chance, since the offer only comes between 11am-2pm.
i only mustered 12 pieces and 3 cups of rootbeer, kasi busog na ako.
so there. take advantage. pizza slice is of the solo variety.

if you want to be a good blogger.....
was doing my usual blogchecking... found this.
post taken from this site: http://www.43folders.com/2008/08/19/good-blogs
1. Good blogs have a voice. Who wrote this? What is their name? What can I figure out about who they are that they have never overtly told me? What’s their personality like and what do they have to contribute — even when it’s “just” curation. What tics and foibles fascinate make me about this blog and the person who makes it? Most importantly: what obsesses this person?
2. Good blogs reflect focused obsessions. People start real blogs because they think about something a lot. Maybe even five things. But, their brain so overflows with curiosity about a family of topics that they can’t stop reading and writing about it. They make and consume smart forebrain porn. So: where do this person’s obsessions take them?
3. Good blogs are the product of “Attention times Interest.” A blog shows me where someone’s attention tends to go. Then, on some level, they encourage me to follow the evolution of their interest through a day or a year. There’s a story here. Ethical “via” links make it easy for me to follow their specific trail of attention, then join them for a walk made out of words.
4. Good blog posts are made of paragraphs. Blog posts are written, not defecated. They show some level of craft, thinking, and continuity beyond the word count mandated by the Owner of Your Plantation. If a blog has fixed limits on post minimums and maximums? It’s not a blog: it’s a website that hires writers. Which is fine. But, it’s not really a blog.
5. Good “non-post” blogs have style and curation. Some of the best blogs use unusual formats, employ only photos and video, or utilize the list format to artistic effect. I regret there are not more blogs that see format as the container for creativity — rather than an excuse to write less or link without context more.
6. Good blogs are weird. Blogs make fart noises and occasionally vex readers with the degree to which the blogger’s obsession will inevitably diverge from the reader’s. If this isn’t happening every few weeks, the blogger is either bored, half-assing, or taking new medication.
7. Good blogs make you want to start your own blog. At some point, everyone wants to kill the Buddha and make their own obsessions the focus. This is good. It means you care.
8. Good blogs try. I’ve come to believe that creative life in the first-world comes down to those who try just a little bit harder. Then, there’s the other 98%. They’re still eating the free continental breakfast over at FriendFeed. A good blog is written by a blogger who thinks longer, works harder, and obsesses more. Ultimately, a good blogger tries. That’s why “good” is getting rare.
9. Good blogs know when to break their own rules. Duh. I made a list, didn’t I? Yes. I did. Big fan.

dedicated to Tara Santelices (a fellow blue-blood.
this is a repost.
August 8, 2008, 12:00 midnight
Word spreads around fast and almost everyone has already heard about what happened to our dear friend, Tara Santelices (Assumption Antipolo’s Batch 2003 and Ateneo de Manila University’s Class of 2007, AB Political Science).
On the eve of her 23rd birthday, Tara was shot in the head during a hold-up while riding a jeepney along Imelda Avenue, Cainta, Rizal. Joee Mejias, who was with her at that time, rushed her to Amang Rodriguez Memorial Hospital in Marikina City. The parents of Tara and Joee arrived at the hospital shortly thereafter. When morning came, Tara’s parents finally decided to transfer her to the Medical City, Ortigas Avenue, Pasig City. Since 8:00am of August 6, Tara has been in the ICU fighting for her dear life. Her parents have decided not to push through with the operation.
Although it might seem that there is nothing else that we can do but wait for Tara to wake up from this horrific nightmare, we, the friends of Tara, have decided to raise funds for Tara’s hospital bills. This is the least we can do to ease the unbearable pain her family is going through. We have been given the go-signal from Tara’s dad, Tito Larry, and here are the details:
The temporary bank account is under Anne Marie F. Santelices, Banco de Oro, SA 2140-062201. For direct cash donations, please proceed to the ICU Waiting Room of the Medical City (Ortigas Avenue, Pasig City). Please look for Joee Mejias or Lila Santelices.
Any amount will be gratefully accepted. Anonymous donations are also welcome. Please spread the word. Forward this to your family, friends and even to everyone else you know. Please post this on Friendster, Multiply, Facebook and wherever else you can think of. Please send group messages on Yahoo Messenger. This will mean so much to us, her friends.
Please continue praying for Tara, for Joee and for both of their families. If you want to come see Tara, visiting hours at the ICU are at 9:00 am to 11:00 am and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Thank you so much for your time and kind consideration.
For inquiries, please contact Joee Mejias (09228154987) for calls and Jac Ledonio (09167243071) or Myka Francisco (09163695148) for text messages.

free massages at Burger King sure made me ticklish... :)
i enjoyed the past couple of days.
we may have lost to the tamaraws, but it is understandable. other than those 3 idiots in gray, it was a good game. the green and gold were very inspired and motivated. that led them to the victory. before that, i managed to watch the lady eagles for the first time. we won against NU, but i guess i was kinda spoiled with the play of cassy and aj and kat and everybody from that magical squad of last year and the year before that.
afterwards, i immediately took the mrt to go straight to a benefit gig at mag:net high street. cheers to louie for cooking up this gig (yes, we will see you at the album launch, if schedule allows). had fun shooting their pictures, as it is just awesome. old school music rocks the house at high street, and those who know it, really appreciated it with gusto and love.
friday night was with the blogging community as i hitched into BK MOA. now, i previously had a taste of the awesome foursome meal that BK offers. given the cost and the content, sulit siya. BK is also a good place to tambay, as seen with the bloggers and comic / toy / cosplay geek gods (yes, offical tambayan nila ang BK Galleria). pics are located there. i even got a free massage that felt more like a ticking session.
and today, i reminisced by eating at Manang's. i love porkchop. :)
good luck to the blue and white tomorrow.
